Last December I came back to the studio and began to create this collection. Like so many there was a long period of time last year where I felt like I was only surviving. It was very meditative work with a rhythmic and fluid process. I got lost in the colors, textures, and shapes pushing the brushstrokes close together but not letting them touch, or layering them one by one over each other completely playing with the relationship between tension and relief. Making this collection is how I began to heal, and it has brought so much life into me. Now I want to share it with you. I hope this work brings you the same magic it has brought me.
